"Hello Akashi-kun." You smile, taking a few steps forward, "May I sit down?"
You get silence as your answer, but you take it as a yes. As soon as you make yourself comfortable on the seat, you reluctantly hold his hand.
"Oh, your hands are cold, Akashi-kun." You sigh, "You should be careful next time..."
You close your eyes, knowing that Akashi might be scowling. Your lips curl upwards a bit.
"You know, I'm really happy that I met you."
Your hold on his hand tightens.

You bite your lip.
"You remind me so much of my favorite childhood character." Your voice trembles as you finally open your eyes, "Remember when I told you about Peter Pan?"
"I love you more than him, you know that!" You laugh sheepishly, "I agree that he is way more careless than you, but... Never mind."
You take a deep breath, you have to tell him now.
"When you told me that you'll be sixteen forever, I admit I was devastated. I knew that you were scared behind that calm facade when you admitted it. You also told me that it has been three decades since you found me near your physical age. You must know that I was so glad that we made this relationship work..."
Akashi keeps silent, you don't mind, you just continue to talk.

A little explanation if you're confused: In this story, immortals have the power to give their immortality to a mortal. Like, the mortal would be immortal and perfectly fine while the immortal would be a mortal and feel unbearable pain (since I have this thing that mortals are weaker :') ) and the new immortal would have the memory of an immortal erased and they will remember it randomly . In this story, Reader-chan-kun had a deathly sickness since they were young and the expected time of their death was the month before Reader-chan-kun realized what happened.
Akashi discovered it a few weeks before the expected time and as Reader-chan-kun slept, he gave them his immortality then he suffered weeks of unbearable pain. Reader-chan-kun brought him to a hospital then the doctors said he was in a coma, then she remembered then this happened.
Whew, that was a long explanation. I hope you enjoyed this story <3 I wasn't so serious about this because I was frustrated with Akashi in his 'just trust me'. Like damn, he's too hard to write! But it would be published later when it's night here~
